Canada supports affordable housing in Toronto

The Government of Canada has announced $44 million in funding to create 106 affordable homes in Toronto. The project, called Frankfort Family Reena Residence, will provide housing for individuals and families in need, including those with disabilities and seniors. The funding comes from the Rapid Housing Initiative, which aims to create affordable housing units for vulnerable Canadians. The project is expected to be completed by Winter 2024.
